A Must For Run & Gun Players on the COD Series.

I bought the FPS/Speed Freak Combo Pack. I have not used the Speed Freak set yet. But I have used the FPS Freak set. Better yet, I have only used one of the two FPS Freak thumb sticks. I use it on the Right Analog stick on the Dual Shock 3 PS3 controller, and I have to admit that I absolutely love the FPS Freaks. I went straight to sensitivity 8 on MW2. This is coming from a player who used the sensitivity of 4 and it took no more than 3 games to get almost 100% comfortable with the FPS Freak on the right analog stick. I am amazed at how precise my aim is and how easy it is to track a player from any distance. Tonight I wanted to test out the FPS Freaks out on a range of weapons on MW2. First I went with my usual setup of UMP45 and right away I could tell the difference in my aim when I was in a 1v1 gun battle and right away I could get the edge, and it even made drop shots a bit easier because of how big th stick is now and I can be more deliberate with my actions instead of mistakingly dropping when I didn't want to. The second gun I used was the FAMAS and it did take about half way through the game to get a feel for longer range shots, but that was more because of the upped sensitivity rather than the FPS freaks, I was one bursting kids with ease. I could track players quicker and with a more precise shot. I cut down my burst fire by half cause I was hitting my target much more cleanly and more accurate. The third weapon I used was the Tar-21 with Holographic sight. I'm already a beast with this gun, so I wanted to see how much of a difference it made on my best class......................It wasn't even fair for the other team. The accuracy plus the higher sensitivity plus my reaction time made it almost illegal for me to play. I mean, 5 straight games of 10+ K/D and my K/D actually went up tonight from 3.81 to 3.83. Drop shotting along with a better control of the Tar-21 made this class absolutely lethal. I don't snipe but I'm sure if the FPS Freaks made my game better on assault, SMG and a 3 burst weapon then I'm quite sure that the FPS Freaks would be an outstanding upgrade for snipers. I definitely recommend this product. It's a big help for run and gun players, who rely on reaction time and precise accuracy. If your a camper or a LMG scrub then this won't you very much. FPS Freaks are made to help you win gun fights in close quarters and help you control your aim while tracking enemies. If you can't do that in the first place then you might as well not even play the COD series. The only con I can think of is that it might have a bit of learning curve to some. It took me about 2 games to get used to the length of the right analog stick and really the learning curve was more the speed of the higher sensitivity than the FPS Freaks. It's must buy and I think I might even get another pair just in case I wear these two out.

I was very unsure about these fps freeks. I thought they were just out to get your money, but no i put them on and was like holy shit these things are PIMP! First match i play i doubled my norm' i went 78 kills and 4 deaths and kept playing games like that. GET THESES S.O.B!

Confused!

Im confused on whether i like the FPS freeks or not. They have improved my gameplay a lot but on the other hand. They break very easily. I just took them off my controller and put them back on and they are cracked. Now i am gunna have to buy another pair. I think i deserve a free new pair or something because these broke in like the second week i had em.

A) It depends on the games you are playing. For First Person Shooter Games, the FPS Freek adds more to the gaming experience. For racing games of almost any kind, the SpeedFreek is the way to go. For other games, it has more to do with user preference. If you play all these games and more, buying the Combo Pack is the way to go!!

Q) So how would u attach it to your controller? And how long would it take to reach me if i lived in California and it got shipped on thursday
A) The FPS Freeks simply snap onto your existing thumbsticks. They take about 10 seconds to install. It is better to ease them on. Do not yank or jerk them on or off, as that may damage your controller. Instructions with diagrams come on the back of a KontrolFreek sticker in the package with your order. As for shipping to California, all Domestic orders take 2-3 business days to reach their destination.

A) Unfortunately, International shipments sometimes get caught up in customs and can take up to 2 weeks to reach their destination. Average shipping times are about 6-7 business days.

A) Yes, but we do not know why one would want to!! They snap onto the controller and snap off just as easily. It is best to carefully squeeze them on and off. Do not yank or jerk at them. This can possibly damage your controller.

Q) i bought the fps freek during the xmas holiday and it says it wansnt able 2 make a transaction but after i used my card again it said transaction already done. i checked my card history and it says dat this transaction is pending. Whats going on?
A) Unfortunately, credit cards produce authorizations (which put holds on the account) before they verify customer information. This is a very common issue, particularly with pre-paid credit cards. If the billing information (address and name) is not accurate, or in the case of pre-paid cards, the card is not registered, the transaction will not process, and the order will be declined. The authorization will sit on the account for 3-8 business days until it processes as a declined order and will then simply fall off the account and you will see the funds return to your available balance. If this is the issue with your particular situation, please keep in mind that the credit card systems need time to update.
