Review: I genuinely dislike reviews which are negative simply to be negative, which is why it pains me to write this review. Regarding the "Speed Freaks" I was thoroughly disappointed. My big cons were ...
1. The thumb "cradle" is huge so there's a good deal of play within the control. I was expecting something more snug so that when I moved my thumb the stick would move as well. Not the case here.
2. Perhaps my BIGGEST complaint is that the design of the prongs which attaches the "Freak" to the stick catches or snags on of the molding of the gamepad itself. I frequently get stuck and can't turn, then when you push the stick past the snag it lurches to the side inevitably driving you into a wall or some other barrier.
3. Price. Normally these issues I chalk up to "lesson learned" I throw it away and look for something better but ... these are SO EXPENSIVE I am hoping that they offer a refund or something. I purchased a "Gamer Pack" thinking that the FPS Freaks might come in handy as well for making more minute steering adjustments. For what cost more than half of a new Ferrari Racing GamePad, I received 4 attachable plastic "nobs" that I would not have paid more than $7 for had I seen them in a store. The FPS Freaks were not quite as disappointing, but, where I was hoping to be able make more minute adjustments to the steering of the car, I instead was having to make much larger, sweeping movements to make regular turns. And these snagged as well. Not as bad because these used only 3 prongs to attache to the controller and it could be positioned so that it wouldn't snag as badly. But because I had to made such wide movements it would swing far enough to snag a prong anyway.
SUGGESTION(S)
1. Reduce the profile and number of the prongs and this time TEST. There is no way that this would not be noticed if some testing as done.
2. Make the "cradle" more adjustable so that it fits more snuggly on the thumb/finger.
3. Make a concave button similiar to the FPS Freak, but make it sit low on the stick. The factory "round-headed" sticks are horrible for grip whereas the concave FPS Freak tops were great. Just that they were extended too far from up the original stick and again the prongs interfered with the gameplay.
CONCLUSION
I don't know if I'm going to my refund or not but I would like too. It was a lot of money to lay out for something that didn't work for me. I am going to invest in a new driving controller instead. Almost the same $$.
I actually hope, however, that they improve on these products. I believe that their head is in the right place and they have the right idea. It just suffers from poor execution.

Review: I recently purchased Forza 3 and was looking for a wheel to go along with it. Well, as you know there are not many force feedback wheels for the 360.
Anyway after coming up empty searching for a decent wheel, I came across a post about these on InsideSimRacing forums. The logic sound sound and hey for $10, what did I have I have to lose?
Tried them on Forza and immediately noticed a difference in my racing. I can maintain corners easily and didn't crash as much. Looking at my replays, I'm not doing the herky-jerky motions I was doing before.
Definitely worth the money. I'm not swearing off wheels, but until someone manufactures a reasonably inexpensive forcefeedback wheel, these will do nicely.

Review: I found these much easier to use then the OEM xbox 360 wheel and peddles. It was always a pain to get out the wheel and set it up for only 30 mins of gameplay. the speed freak (only used one of the pair) works wonderfully for steering that it works just as good if not better than the wheel. It is alot easier to use. My racing and times improved drastically with speed freak. So much so after a couple years of the wheel getting no use, I ended up selling it this fall.

Review: The speed freeks are pretty awesome. Even though they don't work good on Forza 3, they work amazingly on F1 2010. I would recommend getting these, but after using them for awhile, your thumb starts to hurt. But other than that, they are great!

Review: At first I was skeptical that these pieces of plastic wouldn't work, however once I started playing and got used to them my perspective quickly changed. I have now been using speed freeks on my controllers for all times of gameplays from FPS to racing for over eight months. All has been well until this moment where the grips holding them on to the controller have begun to where down a groove into the analog stick and have actually taken off some of the plastic on them. My suggestion on how to make this product better would be to change the feet on the device to match the ones used on the FPS freeks.

Review: It's always nice to see new innovations based on simple ideas and this is one of those. I tried the speedfreek on my xbox to play games such as GRID and Wings of Prey and the controls felt mostly the same as before, it didn't let my thumbs 'relax' without impacting the performance. Perhaps this would work better for a casual sim player.

Review: From the moment I installed my FPS Freeks, I noticed an immediate increase in not only my mobility in-game, but also comfortableness in real life. I have larger than average hands - the FPS Freeks made my gaming experience feel much more natural.
My accuracy increased by 1.3% to 18.4% and KD (kill to death ratio) increased from 1.83 to 1.92 in a matter of ranks in MW: 2... I have also seen a much better handling of SMG's and Sniper Rifles in MW:2 (compared to use without KF products).

Review: I ordered my product on a Friday, and received it the following Tuesday. So shipping was very fast. The SpeedFreek attachment was kind of hard to get used to. I put it on exactly as pictured on this website, but I didn't like it. So I ended up rotating the attachment so it was diagonal. This improved my experience with this product greatly. After about an hour, I got used to the new feel of my controller (I only placed the SpeedFreek on my right stick). I noticed that I was able to adjust to change in directions of Enemies fairly easily, and that I was able to obtain kills faster in many situations.
My one main problem, however, is accessing the 4 colored buttons on the right side. Sometimes it felt like the "wings" of the SpeedFreek got in my thumbs way when I needed to press "A" or "X". But this, again, after a few hours, became routine.
Overall, this is a cheap, easy, and useful mod for your 360 and PS3 controllers. I personally enjoy it for Borderlands, but if it functions the same way for other games (which I'm sure it will) then it should improve your skills everywhere, no matter what the game genre.
