To Famas or not to Famas
By Donnie Walker
7/23/2009 12:32:00 PM

As an avid Call of Duty gamer, I've been following the updates from Infinity Ward on the weapons coming out for Modern Warfare 2.

The most common weapons used in Modern Warfare are the M16 Assault Rifle and the MP5 SMG.  The M16 is a beast weapon for long range targets but is a little tough to maneuver when in run and gun play.  The MP5 on the other hand is beast up close and not so bad for long range if you can control your cross hairs.

But here comes Infinity Ward and the Famas... which has been seen in other games like Rainbow Six Vegas 2.  The Famas (Assault Rifle by St-Etienne Arms Factory) is expected to be one of the big hitters in Modern Warfare 2 and myself personally, am looking forward to seeing it in Call of Duty.

Here are the specs on the Famas and what we have to look forward to in MW2.

Caliber:  5.56mm NATO
Action:  Delayed blowback
Weight: 3.61 kg with empty magazine
Magazine capacity:  25 rounds
Rate of fire:  900-1000 rounds per minute
Effective range:  300 meters

Is this the next M16 for us Call of Duty Players?  We will see...

KontrolFreek interview with Scoady
By Donnie Walker
5/5/2009 3:05:00 PM
Q.  What is your name?
A.  Scotty

Q.  What is your gamer name, the name everyone knows you by?
A.  Scoady

Q.  What team do you play on in MLG and GameBattles?
A.  PoPp1N Y4 D0m3 -

Q. What were your first thoughts when you first heard about the FPS Freek?
A.  Where do I get them, and how much are they?

Q.  What was your thoughts when you recieved the FPS Freeks and tested them out in game?
A.  UNBELIEVABLE. I can't believe a simple extention to your joysticks can make you this much better..

Q.  Do you think the FPS Freek can help a Pro Gamer like you improve your game in COD 4?
A.  I didn't think so at first, but after playing a few games I couldn't beleive how much steadier my shot was. This product is very efficient for long range guns and especially snipers.

Q.  Would you recommend this product to fellow pro gamers and to casual gamers?
A.  I recommend this product to anyone who wants to improve their gaming ability, pro or casual.

Q.  Now that you see the benefits of the FPS Freek, do you think the product and the improvement it has made in your game is worth $10.00?
A.  If this product only came on seperate controllers, I would go spend the 60-70$ on a controller containing FPS Freeks. So yeah, it's definitly worth the small cost of $10.00.

KontrolFreek interview with FeaR Moho
By Donnie Walker
2/5/2009 2:31:00 PM
MrMoho

We recently sat down and asked MrMoho a few questions about the FPS Freek, here were his answers.

Q.  What is your real name?
A.  Joey

Q.  What is your gamer name, the name everyone knows you by?
A.  FeaR Moho

Q.  What team do you play on in MLG and GameBattles?
A.  Team FeaR

Q.  What were your first thoughts when you first heard about the FPS Freek?
A.  Can they really make me play better by just adding a little length to my analog sticks?

Q. Did you get your answer when you received the FPS Freeks and tested them out in game?
A.  Yes I got my answer and my answer was YES it helps ALOT and the feeling you get and control of your gun you have when you are shooting is amazing. It is one of those things where you just have to pick up a FPS Freek add it to your controller and try and decipher it for yourself.

Q. Do you think the FPS Freek can help a Pro Gamer like you improve your game in COD 4?
A.  With all honesty, YES, I do believe that with this FPS Freek the amount of stability I have in my shot and control I have on my guns that I will be able to handle all situations a lot better and this will definitely increase my accuracy with the m16 and mp5.

Q.  Would you recommend this product to fellow pro gamers and to casual gamers?
A.  Do pro's want to better themselves? I think the answer to that question is the exact same answer to this question J.

Q.  Now that you see the benefits of the FPS Freek, do you think the product and the improvement it has made in your game is worth $10.00?
A.  The money you can win from MLG completely covers the 10.00 amount that you spend to improve your game.  So YES it is worth the 10 dollars to better yourself.

Thank you Moho for the interview, visit www.teamfearpro.com to get lessons from the pro’s and learn more about what Team FeaR is doing in the gaming community.
