Can you use a Speed Freek on the left analog, and a FPS Freek on the right?
Yes, you can use one of each on separate sticks, but you cannot put them on the same thumbstick at the same time.
Will KontrolFreek products work on the PS3 controller?
Our products work on both the Xbox 360 and the PS3 controller.
How are KontrolFreek products installed on the controller?
The product snaps right over the existing analog joystick. It takes about 10 seconds to install. It is better to ease them on. Do not yank or jerk them on or off, as that may damage your controller. Instructions with diagrams are on the back of a KontrolFreek sticker in the package with your order.
Can you put normal thumb grips such as gel grips over the thumb installations from KontrolFreek?
Yes - it has the same footprint as your existing controller.
Is it effective to play on a higher sensitivity when using KontrolFreek products?
From the feedback we've received, we hear that even with high sensitivity, the devices improve play.
How many FPS Freeks do you get per order?
Each order has two (2) parts.

I know I can use these in the comforts of my home online, but can I use them at LANs and at MLG events?
Yes - FPS Freeks have been sanctioned for MLG events.
How do your products increase the range of the analog/joystick as well as the accuracy?
There is a mechanical advantage from the increased length of the thumb-stick that causes the increased accuracy. Check out "The Science" page on our site to learn more.
Is it better to have both the Speed Freek and FPS Freek or only one of the two?
It depends on the type of game. For first-person shooter games, the FPS Freek adds more to the gaming experience. For racing games of almost any kind, the Speed Freek is the way to go. For other games, it has more to do with user preference. If you play all these games and more, buying the Combo Pack is the way to go.
What is the warranty on your product?
We do not have a time frame or guarantee on how long they last. That would depend on how aggressively the controller is being used.
Can you remove the FPS Freeks of the controller?
Yes, but we do not know why you would want to! They snap onto the controller and snap off just as easily. It is best to carefully squeeze them on and off. Do not yank or jerk at them. This can possibly damage your controller.
I understand they can be used on 360 controllers but can they be used on a regular Xbox controller?
No - KontrolFreek only fits the Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers.
How much practice do you need with the product?
We recommend you play with them for a couple of hours and then take them off. You'll notice a difference once you take them off!
With the clip onto the analog sticks are there any issues with the clicking of the analog stick?
The button below the analog stick works exactly the same. KontrolFreek products will not slow you down at all to perform acts such as knifing and sniping during the game.
Does KontrolFreek products work for people with small fingers?
Can I test KontrolFreek products?
We are currently not in retail stores. You can order them online, and you have up to 30 days to return them for a complete refund if you are not 100% satisfied!
What is the difference between Speed Freek and the new Speed Freek APEX?
Speek Freek APEX is the Speed Freek but with an optional base that can be used for added precision and grip. The added “rise” that the base provides allows for smaller movements, which translates into smoother actions on the track. Use Speed Freek APEX with or without the base depending on personal preference and style of gameplay.

What is the timeframe for shipping in the United States?
Shipping within the U.S. takes between 2-3 business days. We ship Monday through Friday. Orders received on Friday are typically shipped out on Monday.
What is the timeframe for shipping international orders?
International orders can take 3-4 weeks, depending where you are located.
Can I purchase KontrolFreek product in a store?
At this time, you can only purchase online. If you are in the UK, you can purchase from:

How are the products shipped?
The products are currently shipped via USPS - first class mail.

Are KontrolFreek products available only online or can I buy a set from a local store?
Our products are available only online and we do ship all over the world. You can check the exact shipping costs for your location before you place your order. If you're in the UK, you can buy product from our partners in the UK:

What credit cards are acceptable to use to buy products from KontrolFreek?
We accept all major credit cards including: American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
Can I use a gift card to buy KontrolFreek products?
Yes if it is a major credit card provider's gift card. Make sure you register the card on the provider's site first. If it does not have a valid current billing address, it will not work.
When I tried to purchase a product I received a message that it was not able to make a transaction, after I tried again the message says that the transaction was already complete. It is now pending, what does that mean?
Unfortunately, credit cards produce authorizations (which put holds on the account) before they verify customer information. This is a very common issue, particularly with pre-paid credit cards. If the billing information (address and name) is not accurate, or in the case of pre-paid cards, the card is not registered, the transaction will not process, and the order will be declined. The authorization will sit on the account for 3-8 business days until it processes as a declined order and will then simply fall off the account and you will see the funds return to your available balance. If this is the issue with your particular situation, please keep in mind that the credit card systems need time to update. Do not register your card on their site, and then immediately place your order at www.KontrolFreek.com. It will not process. You should wait a couple of hours for the information to make it across all the systems, and then place your order.
Can I purchase products using PayPal?
Yes you can. When you go to make your purchase, do not click on the Checkout button. Look at to the icons below, and click on the PayPal button. That will take you through the steps to use PayPal to make your purchase.
What is your return policy?
If you are dissatisfied with any of our products, you can return them to us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund the product price to your account.
