I've been an avid user of FPS Freeks for coming up on two years now. My original pair still function well enough, but the EPIC Freeks caught my eye and I ordered a pair.
I only use them on the right analog stick. I can't live without them. Unfortunately, the 1/2" or so length extension didn't feel right for me on the left stick, and it's been the same for most of the friends I have talked into ordering.
The good in this - I get to outfit two controllers with one purchase, yay!
The bad - I also love FPS Freeks for the extra rubbery grip they give over stock, and in the case of the EPIC's I ordered, the look.
I just found myself wishing that there were matching EPIC styled "caps" similar to the Grip-It or GelTabz thingies that I could install on the left stock stick to get the grip and look to match the right stick without adding much height.
Anyways, just random musings I thought I would share.
