I recently ordered a set of snipers for my 360. I have a 360 slim(black) console with black controller. The system is less than 6 months old, however both analog sticks on the controller have around 1-2 mm of play in the sticks. It isn't a deadzone issue, the sticks simply aren't physically activating the potetiometer until they are moved out of this central, loose area. With the added length the sniper this "rattle zone" will be accentuated. Does anyone know of a way to shore up the sticks to get a tight feel?

Hmmmm... I'm not sure it can be done. Let me know if you find a way to get this done.

Glue.

This is a hardware build deal. They are meant to be broken in to be easier to manipulate. It also depends on the user, how hard you manipulate your controls will greatly affect how the mechanical wear happens to the analog sticks.

In short. There's nothing I can see you being able to do, short of buying a brand new control and treating it with love.
