I purchased the "FPS Freek SNIPR" and after logging about 8 hours of game play snipping on bf3 for ps3, I am finally starting to feel comfortable with the controller adjustment. When I first put these things on my controller I had a fairly used controller and had noticed it was extremely difficult to use, especially trying to run or hold my breath, so much so I ended up only using one of the "Freeks" on the right thumb stick. The first thing I had noticed when using the mod is i had to relearn my guns as well as my aim. I was missing a lot and head shots were impossible, I found taking off the suppressor and upping the sensitivity really helped. How ever while relearning my aim i noticed my bullet grouping was much closer & I rarely ever "pulled a shot", also it was easier to follow a moving target. For those of you concerned about your stats be sure to master the mod on a different account until you are comfortable with them, my k/d went from 3/1 to 1/3.

After having problems with a used controller I decided to go out and purchase a new controller. I then added both "Freeks" and wow what a difference that made, I could actually hold my breath/run with both "freeks" on the controller. As time went by I started to get more comfortable with the mod, head shots became easier, as well as mav kills & even cqc. The biggest difference I noticed while using the "freeks" is I no longer snap from the left to the right of the target, its much easier to hit the center smoothly, Also I rarely "pull a shot" i'm always very close if I miss.

My biggest complaint about these is the price $14.99 plus $3.69 for shipping, that's a bit over priced for what you get. I think $9.99 with shipping would be a bit more fair. I also think that the left thumb stick would work better with a different "freek" maybe the cqc one. But at the current price i won't be trying that anytime soon. Also an option to mix and match 1 set would be a great improvement. The other negative I've read about is the "freeks" popping off during game play, If you set them up with the snap part pointing directly at you this won't happen.

So the main question is "Do these work"? Well the answer depends on the player, if you suck at sniping, you are still going to suck at snipping with these. If you are looking for some magic way to increase your skill level you probably need an aimbot. How ever if you are willing to put in the extra effort to master these things your k/d ration, accuracy, & overall skill level will increase. But be warned it does take time, 8 hours in and i'm just matching my current skill level, but noticing big improvements.

So all and all I recommend these "freeks" to people if you use them with a NEW controller, how ever if they broke I don't see my self going out of my way to buy a new pair till the price comes down.
