when the fps freek is attached (ps3) and you push full north and attempt to move the joystick you get feedback from the controller because the way the ps3 was created the dpad and button pad has a recess. this hasn't been problematic to the point where i want my money back; but if i was into tourneys i would not pick this even though its superior in motion to the regular analogs.are there any good 3rd party ps3 controllers where this feedback doesn't occur?

So what's happening here? is the base of the freeks rubbing somewhere on the ps3 pad housing?

we are aware of this issue and plan on fixing it very soon. Although you might not like this solution, here is what i have done on mine. take some pliers and remove every other snap on the product. this would take you from having 6 snaps to having 3. then if you position the fps freek properly, you can avoid making contact with that surface. we do apologize for this and do plan on fixing it very soon. thanks and hope this helps
