Ok, first topic for MW2 part of the fourm   I was bored and wanted to start the first topic on this part of the fourm. The title says it all, there is absolutly no point in the tenth glitch. It does not change your skill or how you play. It is pointless. And I've seen MANY people get scammed because they are so desperate for 10th prestige. The only good reason I can think of is to get to your last prestige so you won't lose your guns. Is that why most people want to do it? Who also agrees with me that it is stupid and pointless?

Thanks for starting the discussion! I am going to have to agree with you about the tenth prestige glitch. I recently met a guy who was selling levels of prestige for actual money. He was making big bucks exploiting the glitch for others. I don't see the point in it either. It's a waste of money. It's like paying for Achievments to be unlocked...why?

It's just a game. I understand that you buy a game or an add-on for entertainment, but paying for glitches? It's stupid. You get nothing out of that and the game would get boring. People get scammed all the time. It takes fun out of the game. The only reason they ask for money is so if they get banned, they can buy themselves another 1 month, 3 month, etc. If they risk getting banned, then why do it? Its truly ridiculous.

I had three people in an FFA lobby the other night all with 10th prestige icons. Is that what it's all about? If it was legit and you earned the tenth prestige, then you should be kicking everyone's but in the game. The icons certainly didn't make them play any better since they lost to much "inferior" players.

All I see are fake tenth prestige people. You can tell that they are fake by their lack of skill. There were 10th prestiges the first few weeks the game came out and they were all fake.

I'm kind of reviving a dead thread but I find that 10th prestige hacks or glitches, just cheating or boosting in general ruins prestiging in all COD games. Everyone I play with has said that when they get to 9th prestige they're stopping at lvl 70 just so people won't think that they just cheated or glitched to get to 10th. I would love to be 10th Prestige lvl 70 just like I was in COD4 but with all this cheating it just wrecks it.

You are so right Air, but people think they are cool and want to take the fun away from the game(by bragging, etc.) and it just makes the game boring for the player who became tenth.
