We don't really get reports of FPS Freeks breaking people's controllers very often. I'm not sure how they could break anything unless you are really rough about putting them on or taking them off. If you try to jam them on or try to yank them straight off I guess you could damage your stick--but most people have enough common sense to not do this. The correct way to put them on is to gently press down, one side at a time, making your way around the stick. To take them off, do the same thing but gently pull up on the FPS Freek one side at a time in a circle around the stick. If you use common sense there should be no damage to your original sticks. Oh, and there is no time frame on how long the FPS Freeks last. Forever, I guess--unless you step on one or your dog eats one.
