I notice that they snap on top of your thumbsticks. One of the grips on my thumbsticks is completely missing, exposing the hard plastic, and the other is rubbed smooth with no "grip" to it. Will they still attach properly to my sticks?

Hmmm, It should attach to the one with the rubbed smooth grip, not sure about the one without any grip at all, my guess is no because it needs to be on there tight, i suggest getting a new controller.

I know I'm resurrecting from the dead an older post, but I've ran into a similar situation. The stock rubber on my PS3 controller Analog sticks were chewed off (by the dog..not me..even though some games get rather frustrating). Has this been tested to see if it would work on the hard plastic, or did the original poster have to go out and buy new analog sticks?
