I've noticed many of you have not taken the time to in essence, search the forums, or look at the whole web page.
There is a link at the bottom of the site to apply for a sponsorship from KontrolFreek.com - That is your BEST (and really only) bet of getting sponsored by them. It's like one of those first tests you got in school - you know the ones... To see if you can follow rules and pay attention? Mhmm, same concept.
I just wanted to make a few suggestions for those of you who still wish to post here for other sponsors:
1. Use Proper Grammar and Spelling
You are a MARKETING decision for a potential sponsor. Do you think a sponsor would pay for a poster at Kinko's if they misspelled words? No, of course not - so why would they choose someone who cannot write in complete and proper sentences? Remember, you are going to represent their company/product. You don't have to be highly articulate, just don't use 5th grade grammar and spelling. If you are not very good at writing, have a friend, professor or parent help you out.
2. Don't EVER believe you are doing the "company" a favor by being sponsored
Fact is, you and/or your team is a risk for any sponsor... Think about it: Who's to say that the celebration pic with you and your team knocking back shots at the club, wearing your sponsor's clothing/logo in the picture, won't surface and damage their reputation - or yours for that matter.. Also, you're the one searching for THEM... So who really needs who, eh?
3. Don't forget to be PATIENT.
This goes for just about anything in life. Patience is a virtue for a reason. Just practice it while applying or communicating with sponsors, especially at the AAA level. You are definitely NOT the only team/individual trying to do the song and dance for a sponsorship.
4. Don't Double-Post
If you double-post, it shows a slight deficiency in your understanding of internet technology - and also - who wants to read the same thing twice, especially with the attached letdown from originally believing one post may be different? Bump your post if you must, but bump with honor. Only once a day at most - and make the bump "worth it".
