the thumb piece srews into the piece that attaches to the controller. becuase the FPS looks a little to heigh to be comfortable(for me at least, I'd like it lower).
P.S. how do i change my username? every time i try it doesn't change

Good idea. But we spent tons of time in research and development to find the perfect height for the FPS Freeks. By your comments it sounds like you have never actually tried them before. Trust us, you don't want them any higher or lower. Tons of research says that they are just right!

Also... Adjustable height would probably decrease durability of the product... Think about it... Things would get worn down from adjusting back and forth... Resulting in a much much lower quality product.
Try them - I agree with Trevor, I don't think you've tried them. You'll understand why they are at that particular height.
