I haven't seen anybody suggest this yet. I applied rubbing alcohol to the PS3 control stick before installing the FPS Freek. It was extremely simple and easy. It just slid on with no problems at all. The controller is almost new and I noticed that the FPS Freek did bottom out on the controller near the buttons. I don't know if it effects gameplay yet. A little bit of filing might remove just enough so it won't hit anymore. So far that is the only problem I have found.
I haven't played with it yet and won't be able to till this weekend. I'll write my review after that.
Hope this installation tip helps. edited by kdxkeith on 4/13/2010
