i have a pair of Fps freeks and think there brilliant.
My idea is, on the top of the Fps freek, where the grip is you could make a convex grip at the top like the ps3 thumbsticks now, if you know what i mean, so you could have fps freeks that are concave grip, which they are now and fps freeks with a convex grip.

It would help the people on the ps3 and the xbox as people cutomize there controller by putting ps3 thumbsticks in.
i think its a good concept idea and could improve peoples game more
Thanks

I have just found out about these things and think they are extremely cool and useful. I am interested in getting a set of both for my PS3 and was just wondering if you were actually developing a convexed set and if it was worth the wait?

I also have been looking at some reviews and have noticed that if you keep taking on and off the attachments that it actually damages the stock joysticks a bit. I know this is not a major flaw as the joysticks are thick and durable and will last a long time, but it's something you might want to put some thought into. Also I understand you don't want to loosen the clamps to much as it will lower the durability of the attachment. The only thing I could see would be to change the type of plastic the clamp is made out of (something a bit softer).

Let me know about the Convexed sticks though because I would like to get a set ASAP!

Thanks for the input. Convex sticks are something that we're looking at doing in the future but it won't be happening right away. As far as the clips go, they are designed to be tight so that they stay in place. It is possible to not damage your stock sticks if you use common sense. If you take them off and put them on correctly you should be fine.

Alright cool, thanks for the response I'll be sure to pick up a set right now!

And about the clips you don't need to sacrifice the tightness when changing the plastic for the clips but it will also add more friction which will also help keep them in place. Just a thought for those people who don't take the attachments off properly.

Thanks for noticing my post, im glad too hear that you will do and cannot wait !!
I have also noticed that you have now made the Td freeks which look great too. Could these be used for fps games ? or just sports games or are you still developing a convex fps freek ?
Thanks

Just like our other products, I'm certain that people will find many uses for the TD Freek across other genres. The TD Freek will feature a convex thumpad with laces that support good grip in games like Madden and NCAA. Although the TD Freek was specifically designed for that purpose, I see no reason why you couldn't try them out in a first-person shooter.

UMMMM so I ordered my FPS and Speed Freek 2 weeks ago which still aren't here after the 2 weeks time that customer service told me.......... (moving soon at the end of month they better get here!!!!!!). And I ordered them after I asked Trevor if they were developing convexed freeks and he told me that they weren't doing this right away (quoted above!) and then wouldn't you have it; 2 weeks later I look at the site and what do I see convexed freeks!!!!!!!! WTF why did I waste my money on something I might not ever get anyways? Not a very satisfied customer!!! just curious as to why I was lied to? boost sales? or were you trying to keep a secret?

Not sure why you don't have your Freeks yet... Where do you live? As far as the TD Freeks go--yes, they are convex. So, I guess I did lie to you--but not on purpose! They don't tell me everything that's in the works and I had no idea that these were coming so soon or that they would have convex pads. Sorry about that! I can tell you that you shouldn't be dissappointed in your purchase because the FPS Freeks have been optimized for FPSs. The new TD Freeks are for football games and are a bit different in construction--even besides the convex top. We may make a true FPS Freek with a convex top one of these days, but like I said, that's still a long way away.

That's ok I understand but the fact still remains that you lied to me which is not a good way to conduct business. And I went out of way to ask the specific question and you replied without all the facts! I feel like it is important for you to know what it is your talking about (like upcoming products) when answering specific questions, not just reply without knowing! A simple "I'm sorry thats not my department but I can check" would have been effective! I would have waited the 2 weeks thats why I went out of my to set up an account and ask!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm stuck with Freek's i'm not happy with!

Many things that we do happen very fast and the decision to do a convex pad on the TD Freek is a great example of that. Our 1st prototype for the TD Freek (which I helped to test) did not feature the convex pad. That was a last minute decision made in manufacturing. Again, I am sorry and had no idea that I was lying to you. Just so there are no hard feelings, why don't you send me your address and I'll send you a pair of TD Freek prototypes (2nd round with convex pads) for you to keep. Sound good? Email trevor@kontrolfreek.com and I'll get them out to you asap!
