What button layout should you use you play using claw for a xbox 360 controller? Because I currently use tactical as a button layout, but I want to know if its better to use the default or tactical if you already play using claw/crab for a 360 controller if that makes any sense...

I don't know exactly what "claw" is but i'm guessing that it's having your index's on the bumpers and middle fingers on the triggers?
I personally use tactical because knifing for me is a last resort and I only switch to the default control scheme when I play knifing private matches with friends. To me crouching and going prone in COD is a constant thing and using the tactical layout makes drop-shotting the easiest thing to do. edited by AirPortugal on 7/26/2010

"Claw" or "crab," is a technique made my halo professionals(or whatever) where your right hand's index finger is on the buttons(A, B, X, Y) so you can keep your thumb on the analog stick and switch weapons, crouch/prone(or knife depending on button playout), or jump while spinning and continuing to keep moving the analog stick without interruption. Sorry I didn't explain that earlier.

More like Halo-overdoingitjustplaythegamenormaltools.
Default although I did switch it like BF:BC2 for awhile.

It really would not matter Tactical or Default. The whole point of the claw is so that you NEVER have to take your finger off the analogs for anything. So either way, you are going to have absolute control. I would still go with Tactical though,

Ok thanks. I was already doing this on tactical and was debating to see if it would work better with Default.

i mostly play cod and i dropshot and drop to evade ppl and knifing for me is not fun i record so i like to get kills with my gun. so i use tactical layout and 10 sensitivity. im trying to decide weither or not to go to tactical flipped cause i would like to be able to shoot with the r2 l2 buttons rather than the r1 l1 buttons. im just worried it would take long to get used to.
