Shiny new forum needs a discussion. And I have something perfect. I've never liked sports games. So what? I want to but I've just never seen the appeal in them. I used to have the same problem with racing games, until I really got to sit down for multi-player see just what the competitive side of it. Now I'm hooked.
So I want to hear from some other people out there: What is it that draws you into Madden/MLB/NBA/whatever games? I love football so that's not a stretch for me, but sitting down to a sports video just doesn't sound appealing to me. So come forward and help me see what I'm missing.
