So I tried putting a PS2 stick in my Xbox controller for my left stick (FPS Freek on the right one of course  ) and it felt really nice. However there was one problem. The stick could not be moved as much as the original stick could be. I'm pretty sure it was the stork that has too large a circumference and it hits the sides of the controller before the Xbox original ones do. So my idea for a product would be a Playstation style thumbstick kit or maybe just convex rubber parts that clip onto the original stick. Yes I have seen Evil Sticks and they look good but are really expensive and I am not sure if they suffer the same problem as my PS2 sticks do and I have seen various replacements but several reviews indicate that they have the same problem as mine did.
