Super smooth. If you can't afford and/or have no space for a wheel+pedal than SPEEDFREEK-on-top-of-FPSFREEK is a pretty good alternative! (at a fraction of the costs)

What kind of modding to the FPS freek did you have to do? With GT5 coming out, and I still don't have a wheel I'm open to just about any suggestion lol.

receipt:
- Take 1 FPSfreek - Remove the rubber cover from the top - Now click the Speedfreek on top of the FPSfreek (it is a perfect fit luckily)
And, it really make driving much smoother. I'm loving it. Example:
I tried it with F1 2010 but that game still has a arcade way of handling. So i replayed/retried Forza2 and 3 and RacePro (360). These games are much more sim. I didn't like to play them too much just because of the fact that controller is not precise enough and you really should play them with a wheel ... well BIG SURPRISE ... because with the SPEEF+FPSfreek mod these games play much much more smooth. I now like to play the games. You really feel in control and a wheel is much less missed.
Really, do yourself a favor and try this mod. I'm pretty sure you won't regret it
Best of luck and have fun Max

OK got some playing in. First thing is yes it's nice having the added height on the SpeedFreek. 2 problems came up 1) Turning right took a little more effort now, a couple times did I really notice it and have to adjust. 2) The top of the FPS freek is smooth, so mine would spin easily if I were just touching the sides of the freek.
I'll definitely keep playing around with it.
