Please Note:
Our discount code system is now working fine, sorry about the issues, but all
should be well. If you order more then 5
packs of speedfreeks, you will be charged for
two shipments. We are converting over to
envelope shipping and we can fit 5 packs in them
comfortably. If you need a larger order,
please email me first and see if we have boxes
available and we might can get that to one
shipping payment. On the shirts, you can
fit 2 of them in a package, but if you order
speedfreeks with it you will be charged extra
for another shipment, but again, contact us if
one of these two things happens, and we will
work it out. Thanks.
Welcome to the new home of KontrolFreek Gaming
Accessories. We have changed the site up a
little bit as you can see. We are now
offering a few spots on our site for
advertising. We do not want to over do it
but we do want to offer some of the companies
out there that help us out a spot here so we can
help them out in return. If you would be
interested in reserving your ad here, please
contact me at
support@kontrolfreek.com .
We
have also changed our shopping cart.
Instead of logging in to our old cart to place
your order, you will now shop directly on our
site and use PayPal for your shopping cart.
It works really well, just add an item to your
cart and then pay for it with PayPal or a credit
card. You can add as many items as you
like before finishing the process. If you
need any assistance in placing orders, please
just let us know. For those of you not in
the USA, do not worry, we ship WORLD WIDE.
Thank you.

Changed My Life
(a must read)
January 23, 2008
So there I
was, upside down and in mid-air. They say that
time slows down right before you die, in order
for your life to flash before your eyes I
suppose. Time certainly did slow down as it
seemed I was in mid air forever. I remember
asking God to watch over my family and to help
them understand that He had much bigger plans
for me. My life did not flash before my eyes
and perhaps that is simply because I am still
here, still breathing and still gaming.
As I emerged
from the mangled mess of twisted metal and
plastic that had once been my beloved Toyota
truck, I couldn't help but check to see if I was
still in possession of all five extremities. I
could taste blood, but I seemed to escape
certain death with no severe injuries. No
broken bones and no cuts save for a small
scratch below my eye that resembled a paper
cut. Needless to say, I was very thankful to
have survived rolling my truck on a deserted
country road.
Only a few
days later did I start to feel the effects of
nerve damage in the form of numbness in my left
arm and hand. The doctor said the damage was
unlikely to be permanent, but he would certainly
be wrong on that account. As an avid gamer, I
found it impossible to keep my left thumb on the
analog stick. You see, prior to my accident, I
was quickly becoming one of the fastest racers
in the Forza Motorsports 2 community. Several
#1 times seemed like nothing but a daydream as I
now struggled to make it through turn one before
my thumb came off of the stick and I barreled
into the wall, or somebody else's car. I grew
more and more frustrated over the coming weeks
and had all but given up on Forza and gaming in
general. That is until my friend and fellow
club member, ACC Mystic, told me about his
newest gaming gadget and explained how it
worked.
The gadget
was the Speed Freek and it would become the only
reason I am able to play games to this day.
After Mystic had explained the simplicity of the
Speed Freek and how it helped him keep his
massive thumb on the analog stick, I figured
that I should give it a try. So I ordered a
pair on the Kontrol Freek website and in a few
days I had them in my possession. I popped the
tube, placed the Speed Freek on my controller
and threw FM2 into my Xbox 360. To my
amazement, I was able to not only get through
turn one, I was able to complete an entire lap
without my thumb coming off of the stick. The
simple U design of the Speed Freek made gaming a
reality rather than just a dream. Not only was
I able to race again, but I was breaking my own
#1 times by over a full second!
I figure that
if the Speed Freek can help a guy with a gimpy
left arm start playing games again, and actually
get better than before the arm was gimped, the
Speed Freek can certainly help you increase your
control and decrease your lap times. I would
recommend that everyone give this product a try
and I guarantee that you'll be just as pleased
as I am. Who knows, maybe you will one day
become just as fast as I am.
