Happy E3 2010 everybody! After seeing Microsoft’s big unveil of the new, Kinect ready Xbox 360 yesterday, we thought, wouldn’t some Stealth on Stealth FPS Freeks look super-tight with that shiny new skin? We certainly think so! And that’s why we’ve decided to give you a chance to win 1 of 10 ULTIMATE KontrolFreek GamerPacks. Each ULTIMATE GamerPack includes a KontrolFreek GamerPack and a NEW Xbox 360! That’s right, the brand new, glossy black one Microsoft JUST announced at E3! All you have to do to enter is become a fan of our Facebook page – that’s it. Good morning, Freeks! We’re guessing that by now you have checked your email to find our announcement of our sweet, new colors. If you haven’t, go check it now. We’ll wait.
Pretty cool, huh? You totally want some of those Stealth FPS Freeks, don’t you?
At KontrolFreek we listen to our customers—if you say “jump,” we say “we’re too lazy for that; how about we make different colored FPS Freeks instead?” And that’s exactly what we did!
Allow us to give you a rundown of what we’ve done.
First of all, the Classic White FPS Freeks and Speed Freeks are still available. They’re the time-tested original. They won’t be going away any time soon. You’ll want these if the standard white Xbox 360 controller is your weapon of choice.
People who prefer PS3’s DualShock 3 or the black Xbox 360 controller will likely want to accessorize them with one of our new black combinations.
If faster lap times in racing games are what you’re after, you’ll need the Midnight Black Speek Freeks.
If shooters are more your thing, you can choose either Stealth (black) on Stealth or Gunmetal (gray) on Stealth for your FPS Freeks—your call—either way, you’ll be fragging in style!
In addition to these exciting new color options, we’ve also thrown together some money-saving Gamer’s Packs for you hardcore players. You can now get your choice of three killer combinations. You can order the Classic Speed Freeks and Classic FPS Freeks bundle, the Midnight Speed Freeks and Gunmetal on Stealth FPS Freeks bundle, or the Midnight Speed Freeks with Stealth on Stealth FPS Freeks bundle. These Gamer’s Packs are for the gamer who needs precision no matter what they’re playing and want to look good doing it.
Oh yeah, and if you’re the kind of person who likes sweet deals, we’ve set-up a coupon code for you that will give you 10% off any purchase through the end of May. So, don’t wait! Go buy some already! And stop by our forums to discuss our new colors and drop us some suggestions in our “New Product Ideas” forum. We’re obviously listening.

Sometimes when searching for inspiration, it just lands right in your inbox. Check out this brand new trailer for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier that Ubisoft just sent over.
Looks awesome, right? I mean, are those graphics, or did they just hire a bunch of actors to dress up like Ruskies and get shot at by robots? Oh. That is what they did... Well that still doesn't explain the cool robots. Either way, it's a really awesome trailer. And I love the fact that the campaign is not going to be set in Mexico again.
I guess Ubisoft stole a page out of Bungie's diamond-encrusted advertising book for Future Soldier. We'll see if they can steal some of their success this fall.

Well Freeks, 2009 is in its final hours. With 2010 approaching fast, we sadly say farewell to another decade and look ahead in anticipation to the New Year.
This year was certainly a great year for gamers; with a steady stream of A+ sequels and even a couple of fantastic new IP’s (here’s to you, Borderlands), 2009 helped solidify that this “Next Gen” has been the “Best Gen” so far.
And next year is poised to be one of the greatest years in the history of gaming! 2010’s lineup of awesomeness is set to melt your face and utterly destroy your piggy bank. Games like Final Fantasy XIII, Gran Turismo 5, BioShock 2, Epic Mickey, Crackdown 2, God of War III, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Red Dead Redemption and, of course, Halo: Reach are all likely to rock—and I’m positive there will be a few surprises that will make you salivate, too.
So, cheers! Here’s to a great year of gaming and the best to all of you in 2010.
Oh, and the holiday coupon code “xmas09” is still valid for 10% off all KontrolFreek products at our store. You really should make it your New Year’s resolution to bring up that Kill/Death ratio.
