A New Year, a fresh start and a sweet coupon code for KontrolFreek products!
By Trevor Roppolo

New Year!

Well Freeks, 2009 is in its final hours.  With 2010 approaching fast, we sadly say farewell to another decade and look ahead in anticipation to the New Year.

This year was certainly a great year for gamers; with a steady stream of A+ sequels and even a couple of fantastic new IP’s (here’s to you, Borderlands), 2009 helped solidify that this “Next Gen” has been the “Best Gen” so far.

And next year is poised to be one of the greatest years in the history of gaming!  2010’s lineup of awesomeness is set to melt your face and utterly destroy your piggy bank.  Games like Final Fantasy XIII, Gran Turismo 5, BioShock 2, Epic Mickey, Crackdown 2, God of War III, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Red Dead Redemption and, of course, Halo: Reach are all likely to rock—and I’m positive there will be a few surprises that will make you salivate, too.

So, cheers!  Here’s to a great year of gaming and the best to all of you in 2010.

Oh, and the holiday coupon code “xmas09” is still valid for 10% off all KontrolFreek products at our store.  You really should make it your New Year’s resolution to bring up that Kill/Death ratio.

BioShock 2 Multiplayer Trailer—Now Slaying!
By Trevor Roppolo
9/4/2009 12:10:00 PM
When I first heard that my beloved BioShock would include a multiplayer mode in its much anticipated sequel I thought, why? Would-you-kindly stop messing with Rapture? When developers throw in a half-assed multiplayer component just to add selling power to their single-player game it usually sucks. But after seeing this new multiplayer trailer that hit the web this morning I’ve quickly changed my stance—it may actually be more than just a gratuitous selling point. I’m not really sure what’s going on in the action, but it looks chaotic as all get-go and freakin’ beautiful to boot. With myriad ways to kill someone in BioShock, it should be interesting to witness. What do you think?
