Each and every year brings a new iteration of gameplay for NBA2K. This year, there are some new badges introduced to the lineup, including the “Right Stick Ripper”.

Introducing the 'Right Stick Ripper' defensive badge, empowering defenders with precise right stick techniques for securing steals. The ‘Right Stick Ripper’ gives the defender a small window to steal the ball away from their opponent that can lead to fast break opportunities and simply more possessions. If executed correctly, this will give your team a huge advantage and will force multiple turnovers. In NBA2K, the team that forces the most turnovers often wins the game.  

How to the ‘Right Stick Ripper’ Badge:  

When picking up the on-ball defense, your goal is to slide your feet, stay in front of your opponent, and bump them off of their desired path. When you do get that ‘bump’ you have a slight window to flick the stick up or down which can result in a steal.
