You may have heard of rings before through FPS Aim Assist or Curbx. We tried out versions like theirs but ultimately felt like something was missing. So, being KontrolFreek, we upgraded the concept by using the highest quality material and providing options in strength to customize your game. 

You may be asking, “What are Precision Rings” and “Why do I need them?”. You came to the right place.

KontrolFreek Precision Rings are made from a flexible, moisture-wicking material that adds resistance to your stock thumbsticks so you can make more accurate shots, even at max in-game sensitivities. It’s a solution to more precise movements without the added height. However, if added height is also your thing, our Rings are compatible with Performance Thumbsticks. It’s all about preference at the end of the day. 

Once you begin playing with Rings around your analog thumbsticks, you will feel that the harder you push, the more the material will compact to cushion your stick, adding resistance and preventing you from over-shooting your target. Increase your in-game sensitivity to turn on your opponents and snap to targets faster.

Our Rings are designed from a flexible material that has been used for comfort and shock absorption in heavy-duty vehicles like tanks and aircrafts. The material is resistant to hand and finger oils and quickly recovers to its original shape, giving you a product you can count on. Another added perk - they eliminate the clicking sound you hear with most stock thumbsticks. 

KontrolFreek Precision Rings come in two strengths: hard and medium. The strengths, measured in durometers (measures a material's resistance to permanent indentation), allows you to customize your resistance level. Our original black rings are hard strength for the most resistance possible, and our new purple rings are medium strength for added flexibility. Precision Rings will fit on any controller, including PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
